Introduction to the use of microcomputer hardware and software for word processing (e.g., Word), spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), and database management (e.g., Access), with emphasis on the use of computers to solve typical problems in academia and business. May not normally be counted toward the degree requirements of a Computer Science major, except with the approval of the advisor. (Fall and spring)
