CSci 105 - Introduction to Computer Security and Information Assurance

Introduction to key concepts of computer security: risk analysis, basic cryptography, operating system security, network security concepts, database security concepts. Related policy issues such as privacy and intellectual property. May not normally be counted toward the degree requirements of a Computer Science major, except with the approval of the advisor.

Prerequisite: CSci 53 or equivalent. (Fall)
