CSci 243 - Data Mining

Data mining field is motivated by the growth of computerized data collections that are routinely kept by many organizations and commercial enterprises. It aims at finding interesting and hidden knowledge (patterns, models and relationships) in very large structured and unstructured data.

This course will introduce fundamental concepts and techniques of data mining. Several techniques will be introduced, including classification, clustering, association rules mining, etc. Several applications will be covered.
