CSci 386 - Java Security Mechanisms

Theoretical overview and practical aspects of Java security solutions. Overview and analysis of standard Java security features; Java cryptography (JCE); Secure communication protocols in Java (SSL); Security middleware systems (JAAS, SASL, etc); Theory and applications of generic secure objects. Students develop individual Java security modules and integrate them into a complete Java security system. Prerequisite CSci 286
