The event, featuring an interactive question-and-answer session with CS alumni and a student social, was held on October 31st, 4:30-6:30 pm in the CS Department Conference Room, on the 7th Floor of the Academic Center, Rm. 736. The event was organized in collaboration with the ACM Student Chapter and was open to SEAS students with similar interests. Refreshments were provided. The event was a big success. The celebration started with an introduction from Dr. Hahn, followed by the guest alumni panel answering many questions posed by current students and professors about life after GW in the work field and what they experienced at GW and beyond. Refreshments like pizza, cakes, cookies and ice-cream were quick to go. The mood was festive, with Halloween-themed food! View photos taken at last year's Department Day.
