NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Internships

The INSPIRE Project, Inc., an affiliate member of The District of Columbia NASA Space Grant Consortium, is pleased to announce their spring 2008 Academic Year Paid Internship Program at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.

Please note that the deadline for applications is December 17, 2007.

INSPIRE will be selecting interns to work part-time at GSFC. Student work schedules will be very flexible, and custom tailored to meet their needs. Students will be paired with a NASA mentor to work on very specific projects.

Students will be awarded $3,500 for their work. Additionally they will receive $325.00 (travel stipend) to aid in their commute to GSFC, which is located in Greenbelt, MD.

In addition to the internship program, INSPIRE is pleased to announce the 2008 2nd Annual Science Essay Scholarship Competition. Three Scholarships will be awarded:

First Prize: $5,000
Second Prize: $3,000
Third Prize: $2,000
